The play/Truth
The play shows the story of Nythraeos
A marble white creature with tentacles emerges from the water
crops, livestock thrives, overtime then human began mining though the earth was not given to the humans.
When they began tearing crystals from the earth, another god took notice and their rage would not abate.
The feline crystaline god, attacked the humans and nearly slayed them all.
Nythraeos Interjected, but was outmatched and flayed by the creature many times over.
Other gods interjected. The other gods looked in disgust at what Nythraeos became.
Humans approached and offered themselves to help heal Nythraeos.
Now Nythraeos is healed and thanks the town every saint’s tide
Humans did not offer themselves. Nythraeos consumed them to heal herself.
Now Nythraeos is literally a demi-human. Much of her skin is replaced with human flesh.
She must continue to eat humans as otherwise the human pieces of her, holding her together, rot away. To keep the humans around, she begrudgingly aids them with crops and livestock.
Puzzles
Walk into a room, [PERCEPTION] runes light up like a trap
Four other squares light up, White, Teal, Gold, Blue, they hear a clicking noise in the wall, tap for each square across, then each square down
each failure spawns a water aberration (in combat page)
The goddes is pure, she brings us fish, thus gold, from the water
Demi-God Nythraeos
In the depths of the sea’s embrace, resides the demi-god Nythraeos. A figure of reverence and fear among the people who dwell along the rugged coastlines and whispering islands of the old world.
Nythraeos forged an agreement unbeknownst to the humans of what it would entail. She offered her blessing; Should they accept it, she would ensure that one tide a month would bring a bounty beyond what could otherwise be yielded. Nythraeos would breathe life into the earth, making the livestock and crops grow at an unprecedented rate.
She is served by the Nydros, born of fish from the sea and the god’s own will. These beings live within the humans and walk among the people, on the eve of Saint’s Tide, the creatures surface from beneath the skin of the town’s people and take the lives required for Nythraeos as well as infecting those residing within the town, though this takes time to complete. This is a magical process.
The Saint’s Tide itself is a spectacle of miraculous growth, a time when the land awakens in verdant splendor. Crops, thought to be weeks from harvest, ripen as if by magic, and livestock flourish, their health and vitality restored by the god’s unseen hand through water.
